The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It’s a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT®. It also gives you a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.

Most students take the SAT during their junior or senior year of high school. At least half of all students take the SAT twice — in the spring as a junior and in the fall as a senior. Most students improve their score the second time they take the SAT. The test may be taken as many times as wanted.

The ACT Test is a alternate option to SAT testing.

All prospective NCAA College Bound Student Athletes must submit and be cleared by the Eligibility Center to participate in intercollegiate athletics.

Information on each of these Testing options can be gained through the respective student’s Guidance Counselor.
